  We loved this attraction, and the tour behind the scenes of how this facility breeds seahorses in captivity. Lots of other sea life too besides seahorses are on show, and there is a terrific souvenir/gift shop where we bought some lovely things. The proprietor also recommended us to stay at Beauty Point Cottages nearby, which was one of the highlights of our holiday.

  This place was a massive surprise. We went expecting to see a few tanks with different types of seahorses. We certainly did not expect to find Australia's largest and world renowned seahorse breeding and global export facility with a fully immersive (ie touch to critters) guided tour. Very impressive. The tour was informative and fun and having a sea horse wrap its tail around my finger (underwater) was very cool with massive grandparent bragging rights. Lots to see and marvel at whilst you are actually inside the operating facility. It is a little noisy but not load with the pumps and water, but that all makes the experience more rewarding. Given this place is only 3 minutes walk from Platypus House, you will regret not coming here.

  An educational, well laid out facility. Our tour guide was very informative and managed the large group very professionally. Explanations were pitched at the right level, all questions were answered and sufficient time given to take photos. Well worth the drive from Launceston to marvel at these incredible little sea creatures.

  Interesting and educational! ! Great tour that is also hands on. So many seahorses to see and learn about. Great for all ages. Easy to get around.

  Great to learn and see the live cycle of the seahorse. And even an opportunity to hold one. Few other great sea creatures too.

  Excellent place to make a detour to. They only do guided tours but the guides appear to know what they are talking about.
